Harmony Place Southern California is an addiction treatment center located on a private residential, tree-lined street in Woodland Hills California, which is part of the San Fernando Valley. It is a co-ed facility that treats a maximum of 12 clients at any given time. While treatment and recreational facilities are shared at Harmony Place, sleeping accommodations are gender-specific and located in separate living quarters.

Harmony Place Southern California was created by an extraordinary team of experts in residential addiction treatment. With decades of collective experience, HP recognizes the importance of using science-based treatments so individuals can experience a sustained recovery. Although group therapy is essential, HP focuses on private sessions. Recovery doesn’t just happen; it requires professional guidance. Treatment for drug and alcohol addiction is personalized to each client. HP treats all types of substance abuse problems, including drug addiction, alcohol addiction, and co-occurring disorders.

The American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), founded in 1967, is a nonprofit, professional association dedicated to training, education, and research in the field of sex education. AASECT certifies Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists and cosponsors programs with educational, health, and social institutions. AASECT also sponsors workshops and seminars on such topics as advanced sex education skills and advanced sex therapy skills, in addition to its annual conferences.

Association for Sexual Health

Since 1978 WAS has been the pre-eminent global organization concerned with sexual health and rights. Our membership represents thousands of experienced & trainee sexologists from a variety of disciplines. With biennial congresses held in different regions of the world, WAS has facilitated sexual health through education, health promotion and networking for three decades. In recent years, WAS constituency has become involved in advocating for changes in public policy to recognize sexual health and rights as key ingredients in overall health and social justice. The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation is an international, non-profit, professional association organized to develop and promote comprehensive, clinically effective and empirically based resources and responses to trauma and dissociation and to address its relevance to other theoretical constructs.

The NCTSN works to accomplish its mission of serving the nation’s traumatized children and their families by:

  • Raising public awareness of the scope and serious impact of child traumatic stress on the safety and healthy development of America’s children and youth.
  • Advancing a broad range of effective services and interventions by creating trauma-informed developmentally and culturally appropriate programs that improve the standard of care.
  • Working with established systems of care including the health, mental health, education, law enforcement, child welfare, juvenile justice, and military family service systems to ensure that there is a comprehensive trauma-informed continuum of accessible care.

CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists) is an independent professional organization of over 31,000 members representing the interests of licensed marriage and family therapists.
