Anne Brunner is an associate professional clinical therapist. She earned a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from University of Missouri in St. Louis, then earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University in Chicago. Anne enjoyed acquiring experience and honing skills as an outpatient community mental health therapist in Evanston, Illinois. Following this, she worked as a primary therapist and a family therapist at residential eating-disorder facilities for adolescents and adults in Los Angeles, California. Anne’s absolute favorite position is her current role as primary therapist, group therapist, and eating-disorder track facilitator at Harmony Place Monterey, where she feels very lucky to be learning and honing skills under the supervision of Dr. Mark Schwartz and Lori Galperin, LCSW since January, 2023. Anne also enjoys working as an outpatient therapist with individuals, couples, and families.
As therapist, Anne facilitates a safe, collaborative, and welcoming environment in which her clients can feel supported as they embark on their courageous journey of self-discovery, healing, and personal empowerment. Anne is trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, CPT and other modalities for trauma healing, behavioral activation, and cognitive restructuring. Anne utilizes an integrative and collaborative approach, tailored to each client, based on their individual goals and needs.
In her spare Ame, Anne enjoys paAo meals, warm California temperatures, and outdoor adventures with her dog, Maggie.
