COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT OF SEXUALLY COMPULSIVE BEHAVIOR

This webinar will present a comprehensive program for treating sexually compulsive behavior. The proposed program integrates concurrent treatment components for sexual compulsivity and life trauma. The treatment package includes classic methods for treating sexual addiction and contemporary approaches for resolving trauma and restoring capacity for intimacy. Individual, family, and group modalities balance constraint and release in the trauma/addiction relapse cycle to restore innate resources for creativity, spirituality, and intimacy. Five stages of recovery will be described: Facilitating Healing, Implementing Change, Reconstructing Self, Reconstructing Family, and Advocating Health.
