Clients with Bi Polar Disorder are often desperate for psychotherapy targeted at stress reduction, structuring a stable lifestyle, cognitive therapy for depression, anticipatory guidance for hypo-manic mood swings, suicide prevention, false conclusions about medications and relationship struggles in addition, dealing with childhood issues. Often with bipolar, relatives can aggravate or further precipitate a bipolar crisis. This workshop will review therapies for bipolar disorder that can greatly decrease morbidity.
