IFS — Internal Family Systems — developer, Dr. Richard Schwartz, presented an all-day workshop in Monterey, CA alongside Dr. Mark Schwartz and Lori Galperin, LCSW of Harmony Place Monterey. The workshop, “Developing Intimacy with Self,” focused on healing disorders of the self with an emphasis placed on healing trauma, developing self-compassion, and using IFS to unpack conflicting parts of self that impede personal growth and development. Dr. Mark Schwartz and Lori Galperin are co-directors of Harmony Place Monterey and specialists on issues of intimacy disorders and addiction recovery.
